Muhammad Munz(th)ir Sarmini (aka=Abu al-Joud) : born in Aleppo, Syria. He is one of the early Islamic singers in the Middle East. His songs are mainly spirtual in nature, their uniqueness is that he only uses the Duff. He is known for his song "ayoha al-Bolbol" and "mashee wa ma3ee Emanee."

He lead many different singing groups, but currently has his own group in Aleppo (Halab), Syria. He started writing and singing Nasheeds in 1970s.
